Research interests include:
Geomicrobiological Work - Applying bacteria to solve problems in economic geolgoy, environmental remediation, and secondary hydrocarbon extraction of depleted oil wells using methanogenic bacteria

Life Outside Academia
I love to play music and perform on stage.  I have managed, promoted, and handled my band's finances for over two years now.  Playing locally and planning small west coast and east Texas tours are now and planned for the future.
