FreeLook provides basic viewing of diverse image datasets, including standard
image types such as BMP, GIF, TIFF, and JPEG. Freelook displays hyperspectral
images and spectra and reads, synthesizes, and displays images from advanced
polarimetric SAR systems, the JPL AIRSAR (complex Stokes Matrix) and SIR-C
(Single-Look Complex and Multilook Complex). Also included  is direct support for
ENVI format images, Landsat (NLAPS), GEOTIFF, HDF-MAS/MASTER (MODIS
Simulator and MODIS/ASTER Simulator), RadarSat, and Planetary Data System
