About myself (so much to write and so little time !)

I was born in the mountainous country of Nepal nestled in the Himalayas. I did my education in the capital city of Kathmandu, where I completed my high school with an emphasis in Science and Technology. My three pronged passion for Earth Science, Minerals, along with Chemistry led me to pursue an undergraduate in Geology. During my undergraduate days, I enjoyed field studies,  traveling to  new places, and interacting with new people from different cultures. I was propelled to continue my graduate study in Geology in Kathmandu. My research was in the application of natural resources. My most joyous moment was when Dr. David Borrok offered me the opportunity to work on the cutting edge of technology in geochemistry. My academic path and its culmination in my association with Dr. Borrok is truly an American dream come true for me. I hope my journey will take me to my terminal degree in Geology.
