Background: I was raised in Baltimore, MD and was born in Columbia, South Carolina. I was a member of the Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) program from Coppin State University where I received a BS in Computer Science in May 2008. In fall 2008, I will be attending University of Texas at El Paso for a master's in Geophysics. After the master's program, I plan to pursue a PhD in geophysics focusing on seismology. I became interested in geophysics during my internship in theRESESS program.
