For Texas APS/AAPT/SPS Section Members:  this meeting ends 5:00 pm on Saturday, October 18.

Arrival Guidelines:

SPS members and APS and AAPT Executives arriving Thursday 10/16/08, should go to the outdoor plaza between the East and West Union Buildings to check in.  The SPS reception begins with check-in from 5:30 till 7:00 in the plaza.  The meal will begin at 7:00.  Board and committee meetings will begin at 8:00 pm. Texas  APS & AAPT will meet in the Smiley and Ray rooms on the 3rd floor of Union Building East.  4CS APS will meet in the Physics Department Conference Room.

For those arriving Friday or Saturday morning should go to the 3rd floor of Union Building East towards the Tomas Rivera Conference Center (TRCC) to check-in or onsite register.  Participating teachers (inservice and preservice) will not only check-in outside the TRCC but are invited to the plenary talks given in the TRCC from 8:30 till 10:00 am.   Guides will lead teachers 10:15 am to the workshops located in the Physical Science Building.
